House Rules

Our house-rules page was created to provide all of our guests with the safety information needed and ultimately to make their stay more convenient and satisfied.

Guest Code of Conduct

  • Our guests are always reminded to keep their room doors closed at all times to avoid noise disturbances.
  • We request our Guests not to group in the hallways or inside their room as this often creates excessive noise disturbing other guests.
  • Each of our room is limited to the number of guests registered in the room upon check in.
  • We can only allot a maximum of 1 extra key for any twin-sharing room. A penalty of $5.00 will be applied if you lose the key during your stay
  • All of our rooms are non-smoking. You may smoke on your balcony but keep the door closed at all time to prevent smoke from entering the room. The hotel management has the exclusive rights to fine the guests (if caught) who have smoked in the room or any smell of smoke with a maximum of $100 penalty fee
  • Consumption of own alcohol bought from outside is only permitted inside guest bedrooms and it is strictly prohibited to bring or consume on public areas such as corridor, lobby, pool and food & beverage outlets.
  • Consumption of food and beverages purchased from outside is limited inside the guest room only.
  • Preparation of food by cooking or barbeques inside the guest room is strictly prohibited.
  • Only registered hotel guests may access or use the hotel facilities without additional charges. For non-registered hotel guests to use the hotel facilities will be charged accordingly
  • Should anyone of our House-Keeper find any of our rooms damaged because of negligence, resulting on heavy stain from food, drinks or any chemical, the hotel management has the exclusive rights to charge the guest/s directly for room for damages and/or cleanup fee from a minimum of $150 to maximum of $1,000
  • Pets are not permitted in hotel property. Should it cannot be avoided, please approach our Front Desk for more information
  • Guests that will be caught on not following the rules stated and resulting on property damages or personal injury to other guests will be penalized with criminal offense and will be escorted out of the property. Evicted guest/s are not entitled for any refund
  • Our guests are requested to share their views, comments and suggestions (non-compulsory) by filling up our Guest Review Cards in our Rooms, Restaurants and Spa. This is to improve our services at all times.

Special Complimentary Services

  • We do provide complimentary Shuttle Car service to town daily. Please approach our Front Desk for more information on the schedule and drop-off/pick-up location.
  • We do provide complimentary WIFI internet connection to all of our guests. Please approach our Front Desk for more information
  • We do provide free use of personal computer with internet in our business center to all guests
  • We do provide complimentary coffee, tea, bottled water in the room limited to the number of registered guest/s in the room. For any additional request maybe subject to extra charges.
  • We do provide complimentary evening turn-down service to all of rooms. Please approach our Front Desk for more information.
  • We do provide accident insurance to our guest. Please approach our Front Desk for more information
  • All of our complimentary services has its own limitations in accordance to availability and operational time

Security & Privacy Policy

  • Never leave your personal things unattended. Safety Deposit boxes are available in all of our rooms.
  • Should you need a bigger Safety Deposit Box for your valuable item, please approach our Front Desk for assistance
  • Royal Angkor Resort is committed on protecting the privacy and confidentiality of guest’s personal information.
  • We never encouraged our guests to bring any joiner into their own room. Should the guests persists on this matter, an extra fee of $35.00 per person will be charged directly to the guest. Please note that the joiner will be strictly monitored at all times

Policy on Room Reservation

  • All room reservation is subject to availability at all time
  • All room reservation is subject to room deposit before confirmation of room reservation
  • The rooms are deemed confirmed, once your request has been received in writing and acknowledged back in writing by our reservation department, considering that you have submitted all the necessary documents to process your booking correctly
  • The hotel has the exclusive rights not to honor your booking, should you fail to show a document to proof on the day of your check-in at the hotel front desk.
  • The hotel management has the exclusive rights to alter your booking to any available room depending on the occupancy, circumstance or situation of the hotel
  • A special condition applies during High Season and Peak Season. Please read carefully the booking terms before proceeding of your room reservation

Check-In

  • Check-in is anytime after 2:00 pm.
  • Each guest is requested to check-in at the Front Desk to complete the registration form, and to submit a valid Passport and with valid credit card for imprint or cash deposit for incidental charges.
  • All early check-in before 2.00pm is subject to availability. Should the guest/s requested to proceed for early check in, a surcharge fee of $15.00 per hour will be applied subject from 6.00 am until 1.59 pm
  • All early check-in before 6.00am will be charged equivalent to full night charge.

Check-Out

  • Check-out is 12:00 pm.
  • Each guest is requested to check-out individually at the Front Desk.
  • Should you require an express check-out, please approach our Front Desk on the day and get more information on the day of your check-in.
  • All early departures will be charged the full room rate for all nights-reserved.
  • All late checkout requests is subject to availability. Any guests who will request for late-check out from 12.01 noon until 6.00pm is subject to surcharge of $15.00 per hour. Any guests who wish to check out from 6.01pm onwards will be charged equivalent to full night charge.

Policies Room Rate

  • Our room rates are based on Single or Double (or Twin Sharing) occupancy as a standard.
  • Any request for additional roll-away bed for the 3rd person is subject to additional charges of $40.00 per bed (inclusive of breakfast)
  • For the 3rd person who shares the same bedding, will be charged $12.00++ per breakfast consumption.
  • Our room rate does not include 10% VAT and 2% Accommodation Tax.  
  • All requested accommodation during Christmas and New Year (including Chinese New Year) has an additional surcharge of $35.00 per person. 

Policies Room Cancellation

  • Payment Deposit is required before confirmation of room reservation
  • A penalty may apply on the following schedules below;
  • Low Season means 1st April to 30th September
  • 1 night equivalent amount will be charged to your credit card for any cancellation we will receive less than 72 hours prior to arrival date.
  • 100% full amount of stay will be charged to your credit card for any No Show on arrival date.
  • High Season means 1st October until 31st March (example: 1 October 2013 until 31 March 2014)
  • 1 night equivalent amount will be charged to your credit card for any cancellation we will receive 30 days prior to arrival date
  • 2 nights equivalent amount will be charged to your credit card for any cancellation we will receive 10 - 20 days prior to arrival date
  • 100% full amount of stay will be charge to your credit card for any cancellation we will receive 9 days prior to arrival date.
  • 100% full amount of stay will be charged to your credit card for any No Show on arrival date.
  • Peak Season means from 26th December until 10th January and from 6th February until 18th February
  • No cancellation will be accepted during peak season or else a 100% full amount of stay will be charge to your credit card.
  • All cancellation & amendment requests must be in writing for acknowledgment by the Hotel Reservation.
  • For any booking in connection with our Special Promotion, a special term and conditions will be applied. Please refer at the bottom part of your booking confirmation statement you have received from our reservation department.
  • Royal Angkor Resort is not responsible for any special promotional packages made unavailable due to bad weather conditions or any circumstance beyond our control. It is non-refundable neither exchangeable to other services. However, some pre-booking limitations on usage may apply.

Children

  • Parent/s and/or guardian/s are personally and legally responsible for the safety of their children at all times. Never leave your children unattended inside the guest rooms or anywhere on resort property.
  • Children under 12 years old and is free on the existing bedding with the parent/s or guardian/s.
  • Children under 2 years old can sleep and eat free when dining with parent/s or guardian/s
  • For health and safety reasons, all children under 17 years must be accompanied by an adult in order to access the swimming pool, fitness room and other facilities.

Dining & Drinking

  • We specialize on Cambodian Traditional Dishes, Sweets and Pastries. However, our Executive Chef do also serve International dishes and other comfort food to cater a large crowd.
  • We are using only fresh ingredients with no added preservatives or monosodium glutamate (msg)
  • Should you have any special diet requirement, we strongly recommend you to share your personal information to our Front Desk upon check-in or you can add this information on your email booking to our reservation department. The hotel management can only assist on sending the guest to the hospital but has no direct obligation or responsibilities to the customer if no information received either directly from the guest/s or the tour operator.
  • Consumption of beverage or food brought from outside within the vicinity may apply corkage charges, 100% of the total value of the beverage or food brought inside without permission from the hotel management
  • Please note that during busy times of the year or during high occupancy, some of our dining rooms may be full or rented privately and may not be open to public. Instead, a room service will be recommended
  • During Christmas and New Year (Including Chinese and Cambodia New Year), a special menu in accordance with the event maybe serve for lunch and dinner

Guest with Disabilities

  • Royal Angkor Resort is committed on providing quality services to all of our guests, including people with disabilities such as visual, hearing, wheel-chair users. We are committed on giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our facilities and enjoy our services similar to normal guests

Pool and Fitness Center

  • All guests are welcomed to use our swimming pool and fitness center during their stay.
  • Rules and other safety instructions are visible at the entrance door for our guests convenience
  • Children under 17 years old must be signed in by a parent or guardian to use the Gym equipments.
  • Children under 13 years of age are not permitted to use the fitness centre.
  • Children of all ages must accompany and supervised by a parent or guardian when using the pool.
  • Outside guests who wanted to use the Swimming Pool or Fitness center are requires paying a minimum fee of $7.00 per person.
